Learn to deliver care to adults with intellectual disabilities and jumpstart a fulfilling career with plenty of opportunity for advancement. Help clients develop and strengthen interpersonal and coping skills, while guiding them in creating positive relationships with family and peers. In this role, you will serve as an invaluable role model to adults with disabilities. Typical shifts will differ depending upon position/location. This schedule includes one weekend day.
DUTIES:
Provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities in agency homes, including medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, community integration, and providing positive behavioral supports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.
