Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom, small-group, and one-to-one support to students with disabilities.
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and accommodations outlined in IEPs.
- Implement behavior support strategies developed by the BCBA or special education team.
- Collect and record behavioral and academic data to monitor student progress.
- Support students with communication, social, and daily living skills as needed.
- Reinforce positive behaviors and assist in managing challenging behaviors using approved interventions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Required)
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Required)
- Experience working with children, particularly students with disabilities or behavioral needs, preferred. (Preferred)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred. (Preferred)
