Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Instructor or Lead Phlebotomy Technician to deliver structured training sessions as part of our growing workshop program. This is a contract, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others and ensuring quality standards in blood collection practices.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate 4-hour refresher sessions and 8-hour comprehensive workshops. Demonstrate proper venipuncture and safety techniques. Coach and assess participants on best practices and procedural confidence. Maintain professionalism and represent our brand with excellence. Provide session summaries and participant feedback following each workshop.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience (hospital, lab, or healthcare environment). Experience as a lead phlebotomist, trainer, instructor or preceptor preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Must have reliable transportation to attend scheduled sessions.
Compensation:
$25/hour (contract position) Paid per workshop (4-hour or 8-hour sessions) Flexible schedule based on upcoming sessions Schedule: Sessions are scheduled in advance — no on-call or overnight work required. Great for professionals seeking supplemental income or flexible teaching opportunities.
