Job Description
SPS Mechanical is a growing residential and light commercial mechanical contractor serving Southern New Jersey. We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Plumbing Mechanic to join our team.
We are seeking a well-rounded plumber with experience in new construction, renovations, rough plumbing, custom plumbing installations, and commercial plumbing projects. We also welcome experienced service plumbers who take pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities
Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:
- Install complete plumbing systems for residential and light commercial projects.
- Perform rough-in plumbing, underground piping, top-out, and fixture trim.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings.
- Install domestic water, sanitary, vent, gas, and specialty piping systems.
- Perform custom plumbing installations and remodel work.
- Install and replace water heaters, boilers, pumps, and plumbing fixtures.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems.
- Perform residential and commercial service calls as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a project team.
- Maintain accurate job documentation using company-issued technology.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable plumbing codes.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years of plumbing experience preferred.
- Experience with rough plumbing, remodels, commercial plumbing, or service plumbing.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout plumbing systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron, gas piping, and ProPress systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
