Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Utilize EMR to update patient records accurately
- Handle patient intake processes, including collecting medical history and updating consent and procedure forms
- Understand and master the checkout procedures so the client experience is smooth
- Maintain organized medical records, files, and documentation review processes while ensuring confidentiality per HIPAA standards
- Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing prompt assistance and scheduling follow-ups as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in medical office management or as a medical receptionist within a clinic or dental setting
- Familiarity with medical aesthetic treatments is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Skilled in clerical tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), appointment scheduling, and maintaining medical records
- Knowledge of health information management standards combined with office experience in a busy clinic or dental environment
