Oracle RMCS Functional Consultant - Hybrid anywhere in US
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Validating revenue contracts and performance obligations.
- Monitoring RMCS interfaces and data loads from source systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, CPQ, and other integrated applications.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring system and process issues.
- Monitoring contract identification and contract modification processing.
- Troubleshooting revenue recognition issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Analyzing revenue accounting entries and reconciliation-related issues.
- Reviewing business requirements and assessing functional and technical impacts.
- Preparing functional specifications for system enhancements and change requests.
- Conducting gap analysis and recommending appropriate business solutions.
- Generating revenue reports, dashboards, and management insights.
- Supporting internal and external audit requests by providing required documentation and analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service).
- Good understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
- Experience integrating RMCS with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, CPQ, and related source systems.
- Expertise in revenue accounting, reconciliations, and troubleshooting revenue recognition processes.
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and perform business analysis activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
