Job Summary
Join a leading acute care hospital in Sioux City, IA, and provide exceptional patient care in your specialty. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for multiple contract opportunities. Work alongside a collaborative healthcare team while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Hospitals in Sioux City commonly offer 12-hour shifts across medical-surgical, telemetry, emergency, perioperative, and specialty units.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Active RN License (IA or Compact License, as applicable)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Preferred/Required for applicable specialties)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in the applied specialty
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
