Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machine Operator based in Brooklyn, NY. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing and binding machinery. Daily tasks include overseeing machine performance, inspecting finished products for quality, performing minor adjustments and maintenance as needed, and working collaboratively with production teams to meet project timelines and specifications. Attention to detail, hands-on expertise with tools, and the ability to follow safety protocols will be critical to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Operation and working knowledge of operating and maintaining machinery effectively.
• Skill in performing Quality Control checks to ensure high standards in production output.
• Proficiency in handling and using Hand Tools as required for machine maintenance or adjustments.
• Strong Communication abilities to collaborate within a team and effectively document and report any issues or updates during production.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical certifications or experience in printing or manufacturing processes are an advantage.
