About the Role:

As an Experienced Staff Accountant, you will work collaboratively with the finance team in supporting recently acquired companies, demonstrating your expertise in operational accounting. You thrive in complex, fast-paced, dynamic environments and you get tremendous satisfaction from reconciling your accounts.

You demonstrate strong ownership of your areas of responsibility, and you quickly identify discrepancies and missing elements in your analysis, securing clarity and structure in your workpapers. You won't just crunch numbers—you will bring order and insight to the financials.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing, recording and reconciling month end journal entries for areas of responsibility
• Assist in the recording of operational accounting entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for areas of responsibility
• Prepare income statement analytical checks for areas of responsibility
• Develop and optimize processes to streamline financial operations.
• Assist with payroll processing and intercompany transactions, as well as audit preparation.
• Support administrative accounting tasks and documentation.
• Other projects as needed

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience: Ideally in a high-growth, dynamic, multi-entity environment, while handling complex financial scenarios.
• Expert proficiency in Excel is required.
• CPA certification path preferred but not mandatory.
• Skilled at navigating and resolving uncertainties in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative mindset: Recognizes the importance of and works effectively with internal and cross-functional team members.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, and UKG is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Ramp, Bill.com & Expensify is a plus.
• Knowledge of international operations and M&A is desirable.
