Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures aligned with industry best practices.
• Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage without compromising quality.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives to foster a motivated and efficient team.

Skills

• Extensive experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, industrial cleaning equipment, and janitorial best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
