Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all standards are met or exceeded
- Change linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities to maintain fresh and inviting spaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform floor care to uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, minibar items, and other guest necessities efficiently
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Demonstrated custodial experience with attention to detail and efficiency
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment as needed
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and guest service
- Familiarity with hotel operations or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
