Night Audit Part Time

As a Night Audit team member, you will be the first point of contact during overnight hours, ensuring smooth operations, accurate financial reconciliation, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly financial audits by reviewing and balancing all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to management, highlighting key operational and financial data.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries with professionalism, utilizing multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to assist guests efficiently.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including reservation adjustments and guest requests, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to guarantee guest and staff security throughout the night shift.
• Address guest concerns promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive relations.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, incidents, and communications to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and night audit processes to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems, resort environments, or hotel experience that demonstrates excellent phone etiquette and client communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Prior experience in hospitality reservation systems and guest services will support your success in this role.
