Hotel Housekeeper
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and manage our housekeeping operations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house operations.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and quality control procedures to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional standards.
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely processing of linens and uniforms while maintaining quality control.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects, deep cleans, or renovations that enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, and janitorial best practices.
- Experience in laundry management and custodial operations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety regulations.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred; familiarity with housekeeper management systems is a plus.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
