We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Houseman to join our team at SpringHill Suites Raleigh Apex. In this role, you are the backbone of hotel cleanliness and the vital link that keeps our Housekeeping and Front Desk teams running smoothly. The RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all public areas, assisting room attendants with heavy lifting and linen distribution, and ensuring our guests experience a spotless, welcoming environment from the moment they walk into our stylish lobby.

Key Responsibilities

• Public Space Perfection: Clean and maintain the lobby, public restrooms, fitness center, hallways, and outdoor entryways according to Marriott brand standards.
• Housekeeping Support: Restock housekeeping carts, distribute clean linens, collect dirty laundry from room attendants, and safely operate laundry machinery.
• Deep Cleaning: Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as carpet vacuuming/shampooing, window washing, buffing floors, and flipping mattresses.
• Guest Assistance: Promptly deliver requested items (extra pillows, cribs, towels) to guest suites with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Trash & Recycling: Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property and maintain the cleanliness of the dumpster areas.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep a watchful eye out for any maintenance issues (burnt-out light bulbs, leaking fixtures) and report them immediately to Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. We will train the right person!
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
