Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Denton, TX. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while meeting company standards. Responsibilities include managing staff, evaluating performance, addressing guest concerns, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring efficient facility management. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to strategize and implement operational improvements and drive overall team success.

Qualifications

• Leadership and managerial skills, including team management and staff performance evaluation
• Customer service and communication skills to address guest needs and ensure satisfaction
• Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, scheduling, and revenue management
• Operational and logistical skills, including facility management and adherence to brand standards
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in using hotel management systems and basic software applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field preferred
• Previous hotel management experience is highly desirable; familiarity with Marriott properties is a plus
