Responsibilities
- Prepare, present, and replenish breakfast items according to hotel brand standards and food safety guidelines.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and promptly assist with requests or questions during breakfast hours.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, serving stations, kitchen, and seating areas.
- Monitor food and beverage levels throughout service and restock items as needed to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Operate kitchen and food service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and inventory of breakfast supplies.
- Communicate with hotel leadership regarding guest feedback, supply needs, and maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, restaurant, or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high hospitality and cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and move supplies as needed.
- Experience with buffet service, catering, or hotel breakfast operations is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as business levels require.
