Hours Per Week: 40
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education/License Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required .
- Current Alabama Registered Nursing License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Card.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Card.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required.
- Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate all skills required of a staff RN.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrates ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
- Effective communication and excellent customer service, interpersonal and critical thinking skills required.
- Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, inter professional care team and patients, and their families.
- Must be able to take call at night and on weekends; plus, two holidays a year.
