What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Nurse Manager - Surgery position at Springhill Medical Center?
Position Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager of the Operating Room will help oversee the surgical staff, direct daily workflow, support team members, and ensure the quality of patient care provided in the surgical department. We are seeking a strong candidate who will be supportive, communicative, and an excellent problem solver. This applicant must be someone who is an engaging leader that will perform duties to help support the management team with achieving and establishing goals.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screen is required.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN License and ACLS/BLS certification required
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification is highly preferred
- Must deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations.
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
