HOURS PER DAY: 7.25
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree required
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA certification)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written communication skills
- One or more years of supervised experience developing, training, implementing and monitoring behavior plans for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Experience training, implementing and monitoring behavior programs
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate functional behavioral assessments as assigned.
- Facilitate the development of behavioral programs, teaching methodologies, data collection and progress monitoring.
- Provide discrete trial training (DTT) programs for students with diagnosis of autism.
- Train and monitor the educators and paraprofessionals responsible for implementation of the individual DTT programs.
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed/requested
- Generate written reports regarding the behavioral needs of individual students including recommendations for behavioral strategies, picture schedules, or other approaches.
- Provide professional learning opportunities for staff, administrators, parents and others as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
