Job Title: Office Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Summary
The Office Coordinator serves as the initial public point of contact for Springfield Regional Development Corporation (SRDC), one of 12 not-for-profit Regional Development Corporations in Vermont. This individual has the experience and confidence necessary to manage the office, follow instructions and work as a key member of a team that is highly motivated and dedicated to the highest quality of public service in a friendly environment. This is a part-time, on-site position at 25 hours/week.
Essential Functions
- Provide general office and administrative support to the Executive Director and SRDC staff. This involves helping with workflow; greeting the general public; answering phone calls and taking messages as well as managing office email; maintaining daily distribution of office mail; depositing checks and other finance assistance; purchasing office materials and supplies and maintaining office equipment, email server and internet accounts. Maintaining databases, including CRM and other software.
- Financial Administration Assistance: Grant administration assistance with applications, support with loan administration of SRDC Revolving Loan Funds.
- Board of Directors/Membership: organizing and scheduling monthly Board Meetings and Annual Meeting, preparation of meeting minutes; communicating with members and helping to maintain/grow SRDC membership.
- Provide marketing support by preparing office mailings (via regular mail and email); maintaining SRDC’s website, managing social media content and producing quarterly newsletters
- Provide assistance to the Vermont Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Advisor and APEX Accelerator Counselor for clerical tasks, responding to calls from potential clients and ordering supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize calmly and confidently manage numerous tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong typing, filing, spelling and grammatical skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and fluency with internet software (e.g. Quickbooks, Word Press, Slack, Mail Chimp)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an organizational support position
- Experience with business relations, banking or finance strongly desired but not required
