Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work one-on-one with special needs students as an Educational Aide/Student Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis at Springfield Local Schools in Holland, Ohio for the 2024-2025 school year.
An Educational Aide/Student Assistant provides instructional, physical, and social emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of students with Individual Education Plans.
No formal experience? No problem. Renhill Group's online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to ensure your success in the classroom.
This position offers a set schedule, Monday – Friday, during the hours of roughly 7am – 3pm.
There may also be substitute positions available if you are looking for a more flexible schedule.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Taking and passing the official Parapro Assessment is required for anyone who does not have an Associate's degree or higher. Renhill can administer this test at our office!
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
- Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed.
- Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
