Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Springfield Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Springfield, VT. As a key member of our facility's operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping duties, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, and providing exceptional service to our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the facility
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to facility management
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and respectful environment
Train and mentor housekeeping staff to improve their skills and performance
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards related to housekeeping and infection control
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. hospitality, healthcare) preferred
At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
