Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, organized and guest-focused Host to join our team. This position is responsible for greating guests, taking and maintaining reservations, escorting guests and parties to their area. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a positive attitude, and is available to work both weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities
Host:
- Arrive on time and complete all opening side work before service begins.
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Accurately take reservations, recording them in our system.
- Maintain knowledge of happy hour and special events.
- Maintain Retails and entry ways for customer experience, keeping retail area stocked and clean
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining dining room appearance.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, server and management teams.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Busser/Food Runner:
- Arrive on time and complete all opening side work before service begins.
- Clear and reset tables and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization for incoming guests
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to dining tables accurately and promptly, maintaining proper food handling procedures
- Assist servers with bussing duties to support smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, dishes and supplies following safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed
- Support kitchen staff with basic food running duties during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, server and management teams.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous hosting / bussing / food running experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
Availability Requirements
- Must have availability on weekdays and weekends.
- Availability for holidays and special events is a plus.
- Flexible schedule preferred.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
