SUMMARY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Retail Department is responsible for delivering a consistent, high-performing, and client-centered in-store experience across all Springer’s retail locations. The department integrates sales leadership, operational execution, service support, inventory control, and client experience standards to ensure each store operates efficiently, securely, and in alignment with company goals.
Through strong leadership, disciplined processes, and cross-functional collaboration, the Retail Department supports revenue growth, employee engagement, operational excellence, and the delivery of a Superior Experience Always for every client.
CORE HOURS
This role is designated as a full-time position. Due to the scope of responsibility, communication expectations, and operational demands of a retail environment, this role requires consistent full-time availability aligned with store operating hours. Scheduling and coverage expectations are determined by business needs and include evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods. This role is not structured for part-time assignment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Experience & Relationship Development (Core Ownership)
- Create a welcoming, client-first environment that reflects Springer’s luxury standards.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through active listening, empathy, and personalized engagement.
- Conduct professional product presentations that educate clients on craftsmanship, quality, and value.
- Guide clients through the full sales journey, from initial discovery to post-purchase follow-up.
- Proactively manage repairs, special orders, and service-related communications to ensure continuity and trust.
Sales Execution & Business Growth
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals through disciplined selling practices and consistent outreach.
- Actively use CRM tools to document client interactions, schedule follow-ups, and track opportunities.
- Generate appointments through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Participate in events, promotions, and vendor trainings aligned with store and company objectives.
- Contribute to store performance by supporting traffic-driving initiatives and client engagement strategies.
Collaboration & Team Engagement
- Participate in daily huddles, store meetings, trainings, and scheduled one-on-one check-ins.
- Collaborate with peers to support appointment coverage, floor flow, and shared client experiences.
- Communicate client feedback, insights, and opportunities to store leadership.
- Uphold a team-oriented culture rooted in trust, professionalism, and mutual respect.
Operational & Brand Standards
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, merchandising standards, and brand presentation.
- Support inventory handling, restocking, and wrapping standards as needed.
- Follow all company policies related to security, compliance, and client confidentiality.

- Visual acuity to inspect merchandise and review product details.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons, events, and holidays.
