SpringCreek Medical Center is URGENTLY seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Providence, UT. Our clinic provides a collaborative environment offering chiropractic, massage therapy, and physical therapy services.
We have an immediate part-time opening for one to two days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team and help improve our patients’ quality of life. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific pain areas.
- Conduct patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy delivery.
- Educate patients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness.
- Document treatment details accurately in patient records, including progress notes and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive pain management strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients during therapy sessions.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice in the state.
- Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
- Prior work in a occupational health setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and developing customized treatment plans.
- Strong understanding of pain management principles and techniques for chronic conditions.
