About the Role
Springbrook Dentistry is hiring a Treatment Coordinator to guide patients from diagnosis to accepted, scheduled treatment; including verifying insurance eligibility and breaking down costs so patients can make confident decisions about care.
Key Responsibilities:
Treatment Case Management
- Present treatment plans and costs to patients following clinical diagnosis
- Convert diagnosed treatment into scheduled, accepted cases
- Follow up on unscheduled or incomplete treatment plans to drive case acceptance
- Track and report on case acceptance and conversion rates
Insurance Eligibility & Breakdown
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits ahead of treatment presentations
- Prepare accurate cost breakdowns (insurance coverage vs. patient out-of-pocket) tied directly to each treatment plan
- Clearly explain deductibles, coverage limits, and estimated patient portions
- Submit pre-authorizations as needed to support treatment planning and scheduling
Financial Options & Follow-Through
- Offer and explain financing options and the in-house Wellness Plan
- Coordinate with billing team
- Maintain clear, organized records of treatment plans, eligibility checks, and patient financial agreements
Requirements
- Prior dental insurance/billing or treatment coordination experience strongly preferred (Open Dental experience a plus)
- Comfortable presenting treatment costs and discussing money with patients
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage eligibility checks and pre-auths tied to active treatment plans
- Spanish fluency a plus, not required
Compensation
- $25/hr base
- Bonus tied to treatment case acceptance/conversion
