What are the responsibilities and job description for the Memory Care Activities Assistant - Full Time position at Spring Village at Summerhill?
Spring Village at Summerhill is looking for a Memory Care Activities Assistant to work along side our Activities Director to develop an enriching memory care program suitable for those with cognitive impairment. Hours may be flexible. Two Saturdays a month.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing activities for residents in memory care.
- Coordinate and facilitate group activities, such as games, crafts, and outings.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and engaging environment for residents.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple activities and schedules.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide support to seniors.
- Knowledge of aging issues and experience working with dementia-related behaviors a plus.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
