What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant - Full Time position at Hanover Hill Health Care Center?
Hanover Hill Health Care Center is hiring a full-time laundry assistant to join our Environmental Services team.
This department is essential to creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and clean environment for the residents and staff of our 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire!
Bulk/commercial laundry experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a good work ethic and a team player attitude. Eligible candidate must be able to perform the tasks of sorting, washing, folding and distributing laundry to residents and patients.
Alternating schedule: 5:30am-2pm and 7:30am-4pm, rotating weekends
Job Requirements:
- Must have the availability to work every other weekend
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in a high paced setting for extended periods of time and multitask
- Have a customer service oriented attitude to interact with staff, residents, family members, and the general public.
- Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day laundry duties and functions as needed
- Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services
- Maintain work areas in a clean and sanitary, safe, comfortable and attractive manner
- Follow established infection control and universal precautions at all times
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established environmental services procedures
