Position Summary
Spring Village at Hammonton is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team. The CMA is responsible for safely and accurately administering medications to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and promoting a supportive, homelike environment in accordance with New Jersey Department of Health regulations and facility policies.
Responsibilities
- Administer oral, topical, and instilled medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Document medication administration accurately in MAR/eMAR systems.
- Observe, report, and record resident reactions or side effects to medications.
- Assist residents with ADLs, including dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.
- Maintain awareness of residents’ individualized care plans and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Ensure medication cart cleanliness, security, and compliance with storage standards.
- Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers to support quality resident care.
Qualifications
- Must hold current New Jersey CMA certification issued by the NJ Department of Health.
- Must also hold active CNA or CHHA certification in good standing.
- Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident dignity and safety.
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate team player.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
