We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly and professionally
- Support servers by bussing tables and assisting with guest needs when required
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and transaction processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist in setting up banquet or special event service as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is beneficial
- Culinary or hospitality background can enhance performance in this role
