What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at La Vela - Italian Restaurant?
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and efficient food delivery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent guest services skills, including attentiveness and responsiveness to customer needs
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from supervisors
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
We are currently looking for a candidate who can work all 5 days of operation. (Wednesday-Sunday)
