As a Cook, you will play an important role in improving our residents’ daily experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing food, checking diet trays, serving meals, and following dietary and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to menus, resident dietary needs, and established procedures
- Ensure all dining and dietary procedures are followed
- Check diet trays for accuracy before distribution
- Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas
- Serve meals in resident dining rooms as instructed
- Follow sanitation, food-safety, and dietary regulations
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members
- Experience preparing and cooking food in large quantities is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and dietary procedures is helpful
- Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and make decisions related to assigned duties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
