We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Service Director-RN to lead our nursing team and oversee all clinical operations within our assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for senior care. Will provide training and oversight of the medication techs and caregivers.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, including nurse management and shift management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans for residents, with a focus on resident’s needs and preferences
- Oversee patient monitoring, medical records management, documentation review, and ensure accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate case management activities, including assessments and care coordination with healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, state licensing requirements, and healthcare standards related to assisted living, hospice care, home health, and acute care services
- Manage budgets related to nursing operations while optimizing resource utilization
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing with current licensure requirements
- Extensive critical care experience across settings such as assisted living, home health, hospice care, or acute care
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and documentation review processes
- Experience managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Familiarity with EMR systems and shift management practices
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and resident-centered care planning strategies
- Ability to lead by example while fostering a collaborative team environment
