Whether working in commercial, industrial, or residential settings, you will be the cornerstone of cleanliness and upkeep, contributing to a positive experience for staff, club members and guests alike.
This position will be part-time on either Sat/Sun late evenings, or Sun/Mon early mornings (two days a week). Additional hours may be available for projects and fill in for other staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as dusting, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection across various areas.
- Utilize custodial equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
- Carry out specialized cleaning tasks like carpet cleaning, window washing, and industrial cleaning procedures as needed.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to uphold facility standards.
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
