Rooms Division/ Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rooms Division/Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest satisfaction within our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and custodial services, with experience in hotel or industrial cleaning environments. A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality excellence is required to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and pristine stay.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other common areas
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities in guest rooms
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
• Support the management team with housekeeping management tasks when required

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is advantageous
• Experience in hospitality or housekeeper management roles is a plus
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in a commercial setting
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
