Job Description
SpringHill Suites Savannah I-95 South is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
- Replace used linens with fresh ones and ensure beds are made properly
- Restock room amenities and supplies as needed
Inventory Management
- Monitor cleaning supplies and room amenities
- Report shortages or maintenance needs to the Executive Housekeeper
Guest Service
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concerns
- Report maintenance or safety issues in guest rooms or common areas
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Adhere to hotel policies to maintain a safe and clean environment
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with housekeeping staff and other hotel departments
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physical stamina with the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
