Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet in an appealing and organized manner
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast-related inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed to ensure availability
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional service and address any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
Experience:
- Prior experience in food handling, preferably in a hotel or banquet setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries and reservations
- Basic culinary skills or a background in culinary arts is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
