What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Lawn Technician position at Spring Green Lawn Care?
We are currently looking for a senior lawn service technician.
Are you a current or former lawn care worker looking for a better career? At Spring-Green Lawn Care we have a different philosophy than most other lawn care companies. We don't demand our techs fertilize 30 lawns a day and then hand them a push spreader. Each of our techs has some of the best equipment in the business including a Ferris Pathfinder Ride-On Spreader/Sprayer to make your day much easier than dragging a hose or pushing a spreader. Our average tech has been with us for over 5 years because we treat our employees well and give them the best tools in the industry.
-Qualified candidate will be responsible for providing lawn care services (fertilization, weed control, insect control, aeration, seeding, etc.) to our residential and/or commercial customers.
-Shop location is near Gravois Bluffs in Fenton. Ideal candidate would live within 30 minutes of this location.
-Be courteous, responsible, detail oriented and focused on customer service.
-You will be servicing our customers with some of the best trucks/equipment available in the industry and once trained will be provided with a ride-on spreader/sprayer .
-Minimum one year experience in the turf care industry and ride on equipment is preferred.
-Must physically be able to operate the equipment to perform job responsibilities and able to lift and carry 50lbs working in various weather conditions.
-Applicants must have strong oral and written communication skills
-Must have and maintain a clean driving record and be insurable.
-Work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak season. We very seldom work Saturdays. Our techs typical day is 7:30 to about 3:30 with some flexibility on start time. Our territories are typically at most only 20 minutes from shop. Our techs rarely work over 35 to 40 hours a week unless they request more hours.
