Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 12 Months (260-262 days per year)
Compensation: Starting hourly rate: $22.65/hour. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Works within Skyward supporting principals with creating and maintaining student and teacher schedules.
- Enters information into Skyward for incoming students.
- Makes changes in Skyward as needed.
- Performs clerical duties such as: copying data, filing, answering telephones, providing information in accordance with district policies, and providing support for guidance department.
- Interacts with students, staff, and parents; responds to routine inquiries and refers unusual or complex inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintains confidentiality with student and parent information.
- Maintains student files including PSSA, Keystone, and transcripts.
- Follows up on residency issues.
- Reviews child custody agreements to ensure current court orders are on file.
- Ensures coding is accurate for PIMS reporting and FINT codes
- Assists the school psychologist with gathering information for student referrals.
- Works with the registrar to complete new student registration and obtain the necessary school records.
- Assists with tracking course selections and the scheduling process.
- Assists counselors in the administration of PSSA, Keystone, and exams.
- Generates quarterly warning letters for students who are in jeopardy of failing a class and send to parents.
- Responsible for the end of marking period grade changes, honor roll calculations, and anything else needed for report cards.
- Assists school counselors in scheduling meetings.
- Supports new student enrollments following existing procedures.
- Performs any other job related duties/projects assigned by the School Counselors/House Principal/Principal.
- Performs any other job-related duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the Building Principal.
