We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Release Manager to join our team a high-profile software development project in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role you will serve as the operational lead for release coordination, stakeholder communication, and process governance. You will ensure releases are properly planned, documented, and executed while enabling senior release engineers to focus on platform reliability, deployment execution, and technical improvements.
Responsibilities
Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00PM. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting on days working remote.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate release schedules for enhancements, sustainment updates, and new applications across environments
- Manage the release calendar and ensure alignment between development teams, system integrators, and stakeholders
- Track release readiness, dependencies, and risks leading up to deployment windows
- Serve as the primary interface between the release engineering team and application teams, system integrators, and stakeholders
- Manage communication related to release planning, status, and deployment activities
- Ensure stakeholders follow established release intake and planning processes
- Ensure release documentation and operational procedures are completed and followed every time
- Maintain and enforce release management guidelines and readiness criteria
- Track and manage known operational risks such as expiring certificates, secrets, and other cross-application failure points
- Coordinate production and pre-production release activities across multiple applications on the D365 platform
- Track issues, risks, and operational dependencies that may impact release stability
- Support environment readiness and operational awareness for applications running in production
- Clearance (Public Trust Tier IV)
- BA/BS degree in a computer discipline, or 8 Managing Dynamics 365 Deployments
- Dynamics 365 CRM experience with Microsoft Power platform experience as secondary
- Required Certifications
- 8 years of experience in Release Management
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform environments
- Experience working with system integrators delivering enhancements or sustainment updates to enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions), and modern release management processes
