Spread Your Wings was established in 2015 in a small one room office in Morgan Hill, California. Since then, has expanded with 10 offices now across California and more plans to expand further. We provide a wide range of services to intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals.
We are currently seeking motivated individuals, with a real passion for helping others to join our Supportive Living Services team in Redwood City/San Mateo, CA
Some experience with those on the spectrum is required.
Services will focus on safety skills in the community, appropriate behavior in the community, picking up on social cues, community integration, healthy cooking skills, making a shopping list, shopping smart, planning a meal, following a recipe, and kitchen safety.
Available shift:
* Afternoon - Friday, Saturday, &/or Sunday
* This position will be 4 hours a week
* These hours can be worked either on one day or a combination of these days.
Rate of Pay: $22/hour

- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
- Reliable, energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Act as a positive role model to support the client and establish a constructive and appropriate personal relationship with client
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be willing to drive a client in your personal vehicle that is in safe operating condition
- High School Graduate or equivalent in experience providing personal care to individuals
- Must satisfactorily pass DOJ background check
- Must satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check
- Must have a valid and current California driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and valid vehicle registration
- Mileage reimbursement
- Sick time (accrued in accordance with the state law)
