What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Support position at SPP PUMPS INC?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish brand recognition and preference for SPP Pumps Inc. products and services.
- Drive all SPP Pumps Inc.’s sales activity to meet/exceed company assigned yearly sales budget.
- Maximize margins for all SPP Pumps Inc. sales orders.
- Work with the Contracts team to ensure that clean sales orders are being handed over.
- Ensure standardized costing activities for all SPP Pumps Inc. products and services are complete.
- Ensure standardized quotation activities for all SPP Pumps Inc. products and services are complete.
- Operate all SPP Pumps Inc. and SyncroFlo, Inc. application/sales activities within Salesforce.
- Drive standardized Salesforce usage within SPP Pumps Inc. sales/applications team.
- Provide regular feedback to SPP Pumps Inc. and SyncroFlo, Inc. customers regarding year-to-date performance / overall yearly objectives and sales targets within assigned territory.
- Establish SPP Pumps Inc. and SyncroFlo, Inc as an acceptable vendor on all bid requests for which we have the required equipment and opportunity to bid.
- Coordination with all SPP Pumps Inc. and SyncroFlo, Inc. distributor locations and personnel for product support, advancement, development, and competitive analysis for SPP Pumps Inc. and SyncroFlo, Inc products within assigned territory.
- Provide technical support, training, and customer visits as necessary.
- Review and follow up on open quotation log and ensure positive growth in % of quotations closure rates.
- Provide regular account feedback (upon requests / monthly)
- Attend / manage regular sales meetings to discuss ongoing issues, concerns, and objectives.
- Drive growth from distributors, through regular communication, relationship building, active quotation follow-up / review, and any other proactive activity

Qualifications
• High school degree, or equivalent
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Excellent prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to successfully manage competing demands and adjust to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to create and deliver clear and consistent proposals/presentations tailored to the audience needs.
• Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work as part of a team and to take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive sales
• SPP Pumps will provide formal training in pumping systems
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the above listed minimum qualifications and are considered a “plus factor” in identifying top candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience working with global client groups.
• Intelliquip and Salesforce experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
Salary : $35 - $42
