Role Overview:
The Insurance Agent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing a comprehensive suite of insurance products essential for trucking and logistics. You will work closely with leadership, and risk teams to ensure we maintain superior coverage, competitive pricing, and compliance across all policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase insurance policies, including:
- Auto Liability
- Cargo
- Physical Damage
- General Liability
- Occupational Accident (Occ Acc)
- Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, and claims coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Develop relationships with carriers, brokers, and underwriters.
- Evaluate risks using data insights and recommend coverage improvements.
- Stay current on market conditions, pricing trends, and regulatory changes impacting trucking insurance.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in insurance purchasing, brokerage, or underwriting—preferably in trucking, logistics, or transportation.
- Deep knowledge of commercial auto, cargo, physical damage, occupational accident, and related lines.
- Strong negotiation skills and carrier/broker network.
- Familiarity with tech-enabled platforms or data-driven decision environments preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
