Insurance Placement Solutions has an immediate opening for a Licensed Insurance Agent to work onsite at a dealership for our client in the Chicago, IL area. This role offers the option of being based at one of two Toyota dealerships and focuses on selling personal lines insurance products to dealership customers. As part of a full-service dealership experience, you will engage customers at the point of sale and generate new business through referrals and proactive outreach.
Licensed Insurance Agent Responsibilities
- Assess customers’ insurance needs and recommend suitable personal lines coverage, including auto and home insurance.
- Serve dealership customers at the point of sale, delivering a consultative and customer-focused insurance experience.
- Prospect new business through referrals, phone outreach, networking, and other lead generation activities.
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective clients through clear communication and consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with dealership staff to provide a seamless and integrated customer experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- An active Illinois Property and Casualty insurance license is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of insurance sales experience required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Education
- High School Diploma required.
- A bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Compensation
- $55,000 – $100,000 total compensation, based on skills and sales performance.
- Base salary of $50,000-$55,000 plus uncapped commission.

Schedule
- Onsite position
- Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- One weekend day off per month, plus alternating Sundays (subject to business needs)
