Essential Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on metal components following production specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Cut, assemble, and fabricate metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality compliance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Operate fabrication tools including grinders, torches, and measuring equipment.
Follow safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company manufacturing protocols.
Meet production goals while maintaining consistency and quality.
Qualifications And Requirements
Proven MIG welding experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of fabrication methods and welding processes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Reliable transportation to and from Jasper Materials Company.
Welding Certification Preferred But Not Required.
Ability to complete any required prenemployment screenings.
