Duties
- Perform storefront window cleaning using traditional squeegee methods, pressure washers, and specialized cleaning equipment to achieve streak-free clarity.
- Conduct interior and exterior window cleaning for residential and commercial clients, including skylights and high-rise building windows using rope access techniques or scissor lifts.
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and other equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
- Utilize pressure washers for outdoor cleaning projects, ensuring surfaces are thoroughly cleaned without damage.
- Apply high-quality cleaning methods for various surfaces, including glass, metal frames, and surrounding building exteriors.
- Maintain cleanliness of all tools and equipment after each job; inspect and replace worn or damaged supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries while working at heights or in outdoor environments.
- Assist with janitorial or custodial tasks when required for comprehensive building maintenance projects.
Experience
- Prior experience in storefront window cleaning, residential window cleaning, or commercial cleaning is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of pressure washers for window cleaning applications is a plus.
- Experience working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, rope access systems, or scissor lifts demonstrates safety awareness and technical skill.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and high-rise building maintenance is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience adds value by showcasing attention to detail in cleaning standards.
