Spotify is looking for enthusiastic students with a passion for music and an ambition to go far. This isn't just any internship! Our paid internship program will give you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it's like to be a Spotify employee as well as get the opportunity to see the technology side of a fast growing company! Our summer internships will last for approximately 10 weeks this summer and start in the beginning of June.
We are looking for an Intern to join our Music Partnerships & Audience team. In this role, you’ll be help out to ensure that key artists, managers and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development and monetization. In this role, you’ll focus on all types of music and work closely with the team to execute on local critical initiatives as well as with your international counterparts on global campaigns. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio.
\n- You’ll help build and foster relationships with the artists and label community, while supporting and educating them on Spotify tools and resources available to inspire and improve their daily business
- Assist in facilitating the artist-fan engagement with Spotify
- Collaborate with the editorial team to help ensure content strategies are localized and efficiently implemented
- Work multi-functionally with other internal teams to help fulfill company strategic goals and cross-functional projects
- Advocate for Spotify’s interests and initiatives externally within the creator community
- Build and share presentations and documents that communicate team and project performance
- Assist in developing methodologies and efficiencies to be an outstanding partner to our artist and label communities
- Attend events, conferences, and shows - as needed
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Music Business, Artist Management, Media Management or equivalent.
- You have a graduation year date of 2024 or 2025
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2024
- You are available from June to August 2024 to participate in the summer internship
- You have some experience from label and artist relations in a digital music service, record label, or at a media company
- You have a strong understanding of the music industry
- You have a keen interest in both music and technology
- You are familiar with the latest digital marketing techniques
- You have excellent presentation and communication skills
- You are adept at content management systems and supply chain processes
- You are analytical and want to learn how to interpret data to set strategies and supervise goals
- You are well organized, have an outstanding attention to detail and have the ability to plan and deliver around critical timelines
- This role will require you to work out of our New York City Office

The United States hourly rate for this position is $32 USD per hour plus a one time intern stipend of $2,253 USD and is overtime eligible. This rate may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for select benefits such as Paid Public Holidays, Free Spotify Premium, and Learning and Development Trainings.
Our paid summer internships last for approximately 10 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 15th 2024 at 9 AM ET.
