What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music / Record Label Music Publishing Intern position at AntiFragile Music?
We are looking for a talented New York City-based Spring Intern for our growing indie record label and music publishing team with some experience and deep enthusiasm for Music and specifically for A&R Internet Research, Social Media platform music strategy and implementation, as well as an interest generally in music marketing.
Our ideal candidate should be an avid music consumer and enthusiast -- should be a good pitch writer, a focused researcher of music metrics, and also should be avid user of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and have experience and track record in building social media platform presences for artists and/or brand on all social media platforms. Also having a grasp of influencer marketing is preferred.
This THIS INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID BUT WE DO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION STIPEND TO OUR NEW YORK OFFICES. INTERNS TYPICALLY WORK 10-15 HOURS PER WEEK AS HYBRID AT OUR NEW YORK OFFICES AND REMOTELY.
Qualifications:
• Able for intern work 10 – 15 hours per week.
• Applicant MUST be current college student -- college credit required, juniors/seniors prioritized but open to all students
Potential applicants should have an interest in music A&R and/or music publishing
• Strong proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with DISCO, and Songtradr is a plus.
• Experience in the entertainment/music industry of any kind
• A love, passion for, and knowledge of all types of music.
• New York City-based with the ability to work from our office in Manhattan, New York City.
• 3-month minimum commitment preferred, can be longer.
• Personal laptop required.
