What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Breath Sniffer (Contractor) position at Spot & Tango?
🐶 Now Hiring: Dog Breath Sniffer (Contractor) 🗽
📍 Location: New York, New York
💰 Salary: Up to $1,000/hour
Are you obsessed with dogs? Do you have a nose that can detect even the faintest hint of funk? PupGum by Spot & Tango is seeking a Dog Breath Sniffer to help us take canine oral hygiene to the next level.
The Role:
As our Dog Breath Sniffer, you’ll be responsible for filtering for the best (and worst) smelling dog breath in the city. We need someone brave, bold, and nosy (literally) to get up close and personal with NYC’s finest canines. You’ll also be responsible for conducting breath tests around dog parks, creating a funk-o-meter evaluation metric, and running competitive analysis. So, are you ready to be NYC’s first resident breathbuster?
What You'll Do:
👃 Conduct close-up breath assessments on a diverse panel of pups
📊 Maintain highly detailed scent notes (e.g., “Hint of tuna? Eau de garbage? Delightfully neutral?”)
🐶 Collaborate with our canine focus groups and build a team of in-the-field brand ambassadors🎤 Share your professional scent-sibilities (the world needs to know about your findings)
🦷 Provide real-time feedback to keep dog breath in check
What We're Looking For:
✔️ A strong sense of smell (if you’re a sommelier, chocolatier, barista, or perfumer - you’re perfect!)
✔️ Must love dogs and be willing to get up close and personal with their snoots
✔️ No history of selective smelling - we need brutal honesty here
✔️ Bonus: Experience in canine behavior, vet tech, or pet wellness (or just an unhealthy obsession with dog breath science)
Perks & Benefits:
🐶 Unlimited dog cuddles (duh!)
🌱 A breath of fresh air - literally, thanks to our groundbreaking top-secret formula
💰 Competitive compensation killer merch
🏢 Fun, dog-friendly NYC office (where bad breath is a thing of the past)
Help us make NYC smell better, one dog at a time. 🐾💨
