About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is essential, and previous exposure to the insurance industry will be considered a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed financial analysis to support key business decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted figures and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Support the FP&A team in monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Develop financial models to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial performance with organizational goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or FP&A role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills: experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience with Vena and / or Netsuite
  • CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional certification is a plus.
